LFP Video has picked up the rights to the works of Irvin Bomb, the artist that melds his erotica art with adult video in his Nasty Art series.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled. I’m very excited about it. I’ve been a fan of Hustler since I was a kid. The first porn illustration I ever did was from pictures in Hustler,” Bomb told AVN.com
Nasty Art is a series that shows women coming to Bomb’s studio and posing for him as he paints. While they are modeling, they start talking about their sex lives and fantasies before either starting a solo scene or engaging in a full-blown hardcore girl/girl sex scene. The video includes sped of video footage of the painting that Bomb is doing as it develops.
“It’s like Bob Ross [the late great PBS painting teacher] – except instead of trees and landscapes you have naked lesbians. Hopefully I’m considered a better painter than he was,” Bomb quipped in a previous interview.
Bomb, who has a background in comics, has art created during the making of Nasty Art videos published in Black Book, Penthouse, High Society and other magazines, as well as having been featured on Insomniac, Dave Attell’s show on Comedy Central.
Ava Vincent, Dee and Obsession are among the performers on the series.
Prior to having his work picked up by LFP Video, Bomb’s Nasty Art series was only available on regional pay-per-view networks including both In-Demand PPV and TVN-Action PPV and as one-hour videos sold on his Website. One of the tapes will have three scenes that have never been seen anywhere before.
LFP Video had their own editors work on the footage Bomb had collected and now LFP Video intends to release two videos that are two-hours each. Each video has six girl/girl scenes.
“I think it’s a completely unique concept and Irvin is an incredibly talent artist and the performers respond very well to his direction. They seem to enjoy the added layer of exhibitionism that the painting adds,” Jimmy Flynt II, spokesman for LFP Video, told AVN.com.
“Larry [Flynt] has seen it and Larry has always had a very good appreciation for art, as well as for beautiful women – he thinks Irvin has provided us with both,” Flynt added.
On March 2, Nasty Art : Sexual Strokes will be released in both VHS and DVD formats, followed by Nasty Art : Flesh Tones in June.
