Jenna Jameson is the Masseuse, Paul Thomas’ remake of his own The Masseuse, began shipping yesterday in both VHS and DVD formats.
The DVD version is a double-disc set, one disc holding the remake, and the other holding a digitally remastered version of the original The Masseuse, which has never previously been released on DVD.

“I’d definitely say the added value of the original film helped with sales,” Howard Levine, national sales manager for Vivid Entertainment titles, told AVN.com. “We didn’t go for fancy packaging because that’s not what consumers care about – they care about what’s inside the package, so that’s where we added the value.”
Besides the original 1990 film, DVD consumers will find that the DVD version of Jenna Jameson is the Masseuse has the added value of two additional sex scenes that won’t be in the VHS version of the film.
Levine reports that “out the door” sales figures for the title were not far behind Bella Loves Jenna.
Jameson is in virtually the entire movie, including one handjob scene, two blowjob scenes, one girl/girl scene and one boy/girl scene.
The original film featured Hypatia Lee in the titular role, and Randy Spears as the man who becomes obsessed by her. The new version casts Jenna Jameson in the role of the masseuse, with Justin Sterling portraying the man obsessed by her.
