Vivid Entertainment Group National Sales Manager, Howard Levine, on Tuesday reported that Janine's Been Blackmaled has surpassed the 10,000 mark in pre-orders.
The new video starring former Vivid contract girl Janine in an interracial scene shot in 2004, a three-way with Sean Michaels and Mr. Marcus, will hit the street on Wednesday.
"We wanted to thank everybody for taking these numbers on this title," Levine said. "It's Janine's first interracial scene and the support we've gotten from all of our distributors and all of our online people has been amazing. Vivid appreciates it."
Janine's Been Blackmaled comes on the heels of Vivid's release of The New Devil in Miss Jones, which, according to Video Age's Angela Morris is "outselling the competition by 10 to 1."
Levine said that Gamelink's Mike Voss called DMJ "the bestselling title he's ever had."
Another Vivid title, The Tom Sizemore Sex Scandal, which will ship on Wednesday, is also receiving strong interest, Levine noted.
"It's been better than we ever expected," he said. "We have over 10,000 in pre-orders. There is something in it for everybody."
