Digital Playground reported that Joone’s Island Fever 4 has been met with a strong response from distributors, retailers and consumers alike since its Sept. 28 release date. The company said it shipped record numbers for the title, which is the first production to star all of Digital Playground's exclusive contract stars.
Joone captured Jesse Jane, Teagan Presley, Jana Cova and Sophia Santi, together with Kinzie Kenner, Marie Luv, Evan Stone, Scott Nails, Tommy Gunn, Marco Banderas and Jean Val Jean, in 16 sex scenes in the three-disc, limited edition collector's set. The title includes 10 boy/girl scenes, five girl/girl pairings and a four-girl orgy. It also includes a dozen solo sequences. The feature clocks in at over three hours and the DVD extras run over two hours.
IVD buyer Scott Neumyer remarked, "With the combination of Digital Playground's stellar talent, early preorders, and the phenomenal success of previous volumes in the series, IVD has ordered heavily on Island Fever 4. We just want to make sure we have plenty to go around to keep all of our customers fully stocked and happy."
The company also reported that the Island Fever 4 trailer has been downloaded over 450,000 times since its release on Sept. 1.
Company president Samantha Lewis said, “I always expect the Island Fever series to do well but the staggering numbers surprised us all. Huge, record orders are the best testament to our visibility and consumer demand.”
Digital Playground’s Island Fever series has received numerous awards from various organizations since its debut. In 2001, the original Island Fever received the AVN award for Best Renting Tape, among other honors, paving the way for one of adult's most heralded lines.
