From MTV Online\n The Internet Entertainment Group, the online company that marketed the now-infamous Pamela and Tommy Lee home sex tape, says that it has a signed release that will enable it to release what it calls a "graphic" video featuring Jane's Addiction singer Perry Farrell later this month.\n As we first reported last week (see "I.E.G. Injects Itself Into Perry Farrell Video Flap"), I.E.G. announced that it planned to post the tape on its site, but offered no explanation as to how it could legally market the tape. Now, I.E.G. claims that with its signed release, it is free to use the tape.\n Farrell's lawyers had previously obtained an injunction to bar another online company, Spy7.com (which is run by a private investigator who was once briefly employed by Farrell), from releasing a sex-and-drug tape featuring the singer and two women (see "Perry Farrell Granted Restraining Order...") .\n Whether or not the I.E.G. tape is the same as the one Spy7.com attempted to sell remains unclear, as does the authenticity of the signature on the signed release I.E.G. claims to have. However, after submitting the document to handwriting analysts, the company says it's, "pretty confident."
