Celebrities, Hustler Honeys and local personalities along with a slew of exotic dancers gathered with fans for the grand opening of the Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club in Cleveland’s Flats area last week.
Located at 1045 Old River Road, the club opened at the former Penthouse Key Club location, with an entirely new outlay and makeover, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported.
The fact the club opened is victory for its operators, said Joe Hall, a spokesman for Déjà vu, which owns the club along with a string of strip clubs around the country.
Just last May, the Cleveland-Cuyahoga County Port Authority filed eminent domain papers against local merchants in the Flats, including Déjà Vu as part of its effort to take over some of the Flats properties to build a $230 million housing and shopping complex.
But that action will not impact the new club, Hall said, adding that the Hustler Club is here to stay.
Its marketing director, Steve Karel, said the club will not only provide exotic dancing, but also fine dining and upscale drinks to enhance the experience.
