The Miss Hustler Honey Beauty Contest 2003 will begin Oct. 23 at the Hustler Casino in Gardena with thousands in cash at stake as well as a chance to model for Hustler.
Hustler Talent Coordinator Angel De Fina told AVN.com Thursday girls who want to be contestants could contact her directly at 323.651.5400, ext. 7109, or [email protected]. She said adult performers are welcome to enter.
There are two preliminary rounds — Oct. 23 and Oct. 30 — in which five cash prizes will be awarded: $300 for first place; $200 for second; and $100 for third-fifth places. The top five contestants from the two prelims will advance to the finals on Nov. 6, when the winner will earn $1,000. The runner-up will get $500 and the third-place contestant $400. Hustler founder Larry Flynt will attend, along with a panel of celebrity judges.
De Fina said that she invites all of the Hustler photographers and directors to the event to scout the talent. The exposure can lead to video and print offers as well as work as spokesmodels or billboard models, De Fina said.
"There are always a lot of opportunities for the girls that come from these contests," she told AVN.com.
The attire for the contest is "as close to nudity as you can get," De Fina added. G-strings and sexy costumes are encouraged.
"We built a new stage with a pole for this event for all the dancers," De Fina said.
This will be Hustler's fifth beauty contest and each one seems to attract more attention, De Fina said. There will be a heavy mainstream media presence at the events, including camera crews from E! and some network reality shows.
"It's gotten pretty big," she said.
Hustler indicated there also would be free giveaways, a DJ and food and beverage specials throughout the night.
