LOS ANGELES—Eve Sweet came to a realization in the past year.
That persona she created when she got into adult—the one where she’s not timid about delivering world-class performances—has been part of who she is all along.
It’s been more than six years since the Romanian-born star eased into the industry with appearances on iStripper, followed by a period of doing only solos and girl/girl.
Now 100-plus hardcore outings later—including anal scenes, DPs and even a gangbang—the former train stewardess for Spain’s national railray enters August 2026 with a global fan following as the two-time, reigning AVN International Female Performer of the Year.
Sweet in January joined an elite group of talent that has won the top award for a foreign performer in back-to-back years—in addition to taking home AVN trophies for Best International Group Sex Scene and Best VR Group Sex Scene at the 43rd annual ceremony.
“I think these six years, it gives me the chance to get to know myself, right?” Sweet tells AVN. “Maybe a little bit under pressure. For some people, yeah, it’s just a career. But I think my career was very intense for me because I’m a very shy person. And I don’t really know if anyone ever saw that. I struggled with my shyness for all this time. Seeing so many people always on social media and trying to show my personality, trying to talk on camera, it was really like a lot for me.
"So I think it has been a very beautiful journey getting to know myself—which I have to say that I didn’t really know who I was before my career.”
This summer Sweet is taking time to appreciate how far she’s come, the life she’s created and what this unexpected journey has meant to her.
“Whenever I would enter in this personage, I was like, yeah, fuck it, let’s do everything, right? I’m here, why not?” Eve continues. “And I would separate who I am on camera and who I am in my private life.
“And I think this year I realized this personage is me. It has always been me.”
She calls the 2026 AVNs at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas—where she joined Vixen Media Group’s glamorous contingent— “an incredible, beautiful trip for me.”
“And it finished with the awards, and that honestly, I didn’t really expect,” Eve admits. “I was impressed. I remember we went in these stairs and there’s this mirror in front of them. And we went with my team and with my best friend, and they were carrying the awards for me. And I have a video just going downstairs and we enter in the hotel and we start dancing with the awards, it was really very cool. And after, we celebrate with Vixen. It was amazing.”
Now also a Fleshlight girl—another goal achieved—Eve points to her extensive work for VMG and its suite of studio brands as the biggest driver of her success.
VMG has captured all of Sweet’s career milestones, including her first boy/girl that was released in January 2022 on Blacked and her second one that was released a month later on Vixen. She went on to shoot her first anal encounter in the summer of 2024 for the AVN Award-winning Hotel Vixen Season 2. Later that same year Eve completed her first double-penetration scene for the crossover feature Long Con, a movie where she was the co-lead with Agatha Vega. Then she was crowned Vixen Angel in December 2024 in Paris along with Vega—a coveted title reserved for the studio’s most bankable stars.
Sweet also chose Blacked for her first gangbang, taking on six guys in a sensational poolside throw-down in the summer of 2025.
“Vixen Media Group has been to me my biggest support, I can say,” Sweet tells AVN. “I mean, I start my career with them.
“Each time either with the American team, which they are really amazing and I love everybody from there, or the European team, they are also amazing. Obviously, I have worked more with the European team because I live here, but everybody from Vixen has always supported my career.”
No one knows Sweet’s camera presence better than VMG director Julia Grandi, who has won Best Directing Portfolio - International for the past three years.
A 20-year industry veteran from St. Petersburg, Russia, who also owns the Budapest-based talent agency, JulModels, Grandi called the shots for the majority of Sweet’s 30 scenes for VMG. Julia also cast Eve in some of her most critically acclaimed features such as Hotel Vixen Season 2 (2024), Long Con (2024) and In Vogue 2 (2025).
“Eve has been a highlight of my productions for years,” Grandi, who has been directing for VMG since the summer of 2019, tells AVN. “She did a lot for my success and we’ve actually become friends. We travel together, we celebrate life events together…”
Grandi continues, “It was from the first scene when you feel like this girl is enjoying sex naturally even if it’s work. She’s really into getting herself an orgasm and not missing a moment to get pleasure. She also wants to share her pleasure with the viewers. … She’s one of the girls who almost never fakes orgasms. She has something inside… That’s what makes her special.”
Julia more recently worked with Eve in the upcoming Hotel Vixen Season 3, telling AVN “she really cares about the product.”
“She is trying her best to be better and better,” Grandi adds. “When I had these script ideas I was always thinking Eve should have a leading role. She is not just a pretty girl doing porn. … She’s a real actress that is also enjoying the sex as a porn actress.”
Christian Clay, the 2025 AVN International Male Performer of the Year from Naples, Italy, performed Sweet’s first anal scene in addition to working with her five other times since 2022—all for VMG.
Eve is a very beautiful girl and a very good performer,” Clay tells AVN. “With her I have a few scenes and I remember I did her first Tushy [scene]. She was a little bit nervous but I did my best to make the scene happen so in the end we did a very nice scene.
“She’s one of the girls, she knew from the beginning what was her target. She’s a very focused girl. She knows what she wants. She knew from the beginning where she want to go. She’s not just about work, she really likes sex.
“She like what she do. So it’s very nice to still have girls like her in the industry.”
Born in Braila, a historic port city in southeastern Romania about three hours from the capital of Bucharest, Eve grew up in a conservative, religious family, excelling in ballet and theater and going to church every Sunday. She left Romania with her brother when she was 12 for the Basque Country in northern Spain.
“My father was all the time looking for new opportunities to bring to the family so he came to Spain and then after my mom did also,” Eve says. “So during one year me and my brother were with my grandma. And after that my parents decide okay, let’s move all together. Let’s have a new life and let’s start from zero.
“It was not easy because at 12 you already have your friends… At the beginning it was very difficult and I remember I was crying a lot, like I hate Spain, I don’t like it… But I get impressed by the language and I start to like it. I start reading a lot.”
In 2020, Eve moved to Paris, where she was based until last September, when she relocated to Marbella, Spain because of her love for the sea.
“I still speak [Romanian] because obviously with my parents it was something very important for us and actually it gave me a lot of base,” Eve explains. “Because it’s a Latin language—to learn French, to learn Spanish, English. So it really helped me a lot, the Romanian language.
“But once I left, I just went back once because I had a boyfriend that was Romanian and he wanted to visit his parents, so we went together.”
Sweet describes herself before adult as “a very simple person.”
“I never thought I would be where I am right now. I had no idea of my sexual fantasies,” Eve says. “I never really pictured myself traveling that much and what I’m doing now for a living. And I’m gonna meet so many interesting people, and I’m gonna fly high, and I’m gonna open my wings to do whatever I want.”
She recalls working 12 to 14 hours a day—most of it while standing—as a stewardess on trains traversing Spain for three monotonous years. When Eve was still working as a stewardess she met a photographer who asked if she wanted to shoot with him. Sweet declined, telling him she doesn’t take pictures. She didn’t even like social media at the time.
“But he was kind of flirting with me, and he insisted for three months to take these pictures with him. He didn’t give up,” Eve says. “And I was like super shy. And I told him, okay, let’s take the pictures, but I will need your ID. I sent to my mom the picture of his ID and also the location.”
Eve posted those photos on social media and soon other photographers in the Basque Country began contacting her.
“And a friend of my best friend that came with me to the AVN, she contact me and she says, ‘Wow, you are so beautiful. I would love to meet you and introduce you to one of my friends. He does pictures in Barcelona.’”
“And so I contacted him and he told me, ‘You can come to Barcelona and I’m going to introduce you to all the photographers here.’ So that’s how I decided to leave my job.”
Still, money was tight during that transitional period in 2019. Eve admits there were times when she had to choose whether to take her dog Loki to the groomer or get her own nails done because she barely had enough money leftover after paying her rent.
“So sometimes my dog would be like with super long hair,” Eve says with a laugh. “And after that I started to work with photographers, and my economics started to be a little bit better.”
When another friend of her’s got rejected by iStripper because of a tattoo on her leg, Sweet stepped in as the replacement. She made more money in one day with iStripper than what she’d been earning in almost a month doing glamour shoots. Eve remembers at first she didn’t even touch herself, but when she opened her legs, tears began to flow “because for me it was like my life is ending here.”
“I will never be able to go back to my work of what I did, just in case these pictures are not really going to go well,” Eve says.
But Sweet’s first appearance on iStripper generated one of the highest traffic figures ever on the site—a sign of things to come. She even would go on to marry the producer, but it ended in divorce.
Her foray into porn production began in Budapest, Hungary in December 2020 for Romero’s tentacle porn site, Hentaied, which at the time was emerging as one of Europe’s next big things.
Eve became a regular on the monster-themed site, performing in several scenes before also landing bookings with Nubiles, LetsDoeIt, MetArt, AbbyWinters, and Rocco Siffredi, among others in 2021.
“Romero shot with me quite a lot for Hentaied,” Sweet says. “I’m very happy for him because his company now is going very nice. ... I think I did very nice work with them. It was really like experimenting because he would tell me to express emotions.
“And for me it was very interesting because I never did that.”
Since settling in Marbella, Sweet has been focusing on her OnlyFans while leading the healthy, active lifestyle that she’s always wanted.
She takes singing classes, plays padel and practices Pilates. She also likes to read, meditate, spend time with Loki, enjoy the beach, go to the mountains and stare at the moon.
“It’s just like very simple things but also very important for me,” Sweet says. “I think right now I’m focusing way more on myself and on my hobbies, something I wasn’t really able to do during my career. So in a way it is also time for me to enjoy what I built.”
Eve tells AVN she discovered her vocal range during classes.
“I realize I can keep very high notes,” she says. “I love it so much and my fans—it’s really something that they are enjoying a lot actually. They support me very much, and I also have some fans that make music for me. It’s really very nice, honestly.”
Sweet reveals she’s been practicing with the Lana Del Rey song, “Say Yes To Heaven.”
“Which is a very beautiful song, and I don’t know, at the same time I’m very religious and very feminine, and I think it represents me a lot,” she says. “But it’s a song that each time I’m singing it, it’s different every time. So it’s really like a process and starting to feel the music, starting to understand the music.
“If I can describe the love I feel for music right now, it’s like when you want to give a hug to a person and you want to hug that person so hard that it’s like, I want to eat you.
“It’s very profound.”
