Hotel Workers Want Norway to Ban Pay-TV Porn

An apparent rash of naked, porn-loving guests calling room service to lure female staffers into their rooms has provoked hotel workers in Norway to demand moves to ban pay-TV porn in the rooms.

"Pornography does not belong in hotel rooms. Pay-TV should be limited to entertainment," said Norwegian Hotel and Restaurant Workers' Union leader Eli Ljunggren to Reuters.

Typical tricks, according to the union, include guests calling the front desk for extras like fresh towels to get female company. And Ljunggren told reporters the complaints are rising rapidly enough.

"Most room service personnel work alone," she told the news wire. "It can be very unpleasant to get called to a room to be met by a naked man." Ljunggren also said the complaints range from sleazy remarks to physical contact and assault.
