Hollywood-Hunter Launches Ecstasy Films for Features

Hollywood-Hunter Productions is launching its high-end feature division, Ecstasy Films, with Reunion, which is being shot this week in Malibu.

Adult performer Brooke Hunter wrote the feature about three high school friends who meet for a reunion and find a fantasy island that they aren’t sure is real or imagined. Hunter is also performing and co-directing with Jennifer James.

“It’s couples friendly, romantic and pretty with a lot of twists and turns,” Hunter said.

The nine-year veteran performer who has been directing for the past six years indicated that every movie from Ecstasy would be written and directed by women and for women and couples.

“Virtually all the fans I meet while feature dancing, at store signings and at conventions, like AEE and Erotica LA, tell me that they want to see more movies with real stories,” Hunter said. “Of course they all want hot sex and beautiful performers but, they also want erotic stories. I believe that I can bring sexual fantasies to life on the screen while telling a story that the viewers can relate to and actually get involved in.

“I’m also thrilled to have Jennifer James as my co-director on this project. Jennifer is a dear friend and enjoys a long standing reputation for high quality erotica. She will definitely be an asset to this project.”

All Ecstasy Film titles will be shot and edited in HD, and DVD distribution will be available exclusively through Platinum Blue Productions.

Hunter has assembled a strong cast for Reunion that includes Shayla LaVeaux, Tyla Wynn, Eva Angelina, Sara Stone and Sophie Dee, along with leading male talent such as Evan Stone, Nick Manning, Lee Stone and Don Hollywood, co-owner of Hollywood-Hunter.

Principal photography began on Sunday in Malibu Hills, and will continue today and Tuesday.

“We’re shooting at the top of the hills in Dry Gulch on a 26-acre ranch and 14,000 square foot estate,” Hunter said. “It’s a Mediterranean hideaway. It’s gorgeous.”

She continued, “I’ve wanted to be behind the camera for a feature like this for almost 10 years. It’s kind of nice to be able to take all that knowledge I’ve had and take it up to this notch to have this big of a shoot. I’m pretty excited about it.”
