High Octane Signs With Pulse Distribution

High Octane Media has signed an exclusive DVD distribution agreement with Pulse Distribution, High Octane prez Patrick Albret told GAYVN today. The agreement is effective immediately.

Albret's high-end line of Hervé Handsome features took off in the U.S. with 1999's Boys of the Bastille. All of High Octane's movies are filmed in Europe.

In a subsequent press release, Jim Kohls, co-owner with Mark Hamilton of Pulse Distribution, said, "High Octane has developed an excellent reputation over the last six years for producing adult films of the highest quality, and we are excited to have been chosen as High Octane's exclusive DVD distribution partner in the United States."

Other gay lines distributed by Pulse include the Falcon Studios brands and StraightCollegeMen.

Albret also expressed his pleasure about signing on with Pulse: "I am very happy to be working with Jim and Mark. My longtime friendship with Jim, in addition to their network of contacts, makes me very optimistic about our future together."

High Octane's first release for Pulse Distribution, Swim Meat 2, goes on sale in January. It will feature the introductory appearance of identical twin brothers Alex Lynch and Ian Lynch. "We had the luck to discover these incredibly gorgeous twins and to have the opportunity to shoot their debut on film," Albret enthused.

High Octane's titles are all in widescreen format and shot in High Definition. In addition to Swim Meat 2, Pulse will also immediately distribute High Octane's catalog of 35 titles.
