Playboy founder Hugh M. Hefner, who celebrated his 80th birthday over the weekend, says he plans to continue the celebration with a two-week, seven-city tour of Europe in May.
“This is the most rewarding time of my life,” said Hefner.
“With Playboy's global popularity, it seems only fitting to bring the celebration to Europe.”
Hefner will leave for Europe next month with his girlfriends Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson, who star in E! Entertainment Television’s “The Girls Next Door,” reality show, which will also shoot part of its second season during the tour.
On Saturday, Hefner hosted a birthday bash at his Holmby Hills mansion with nearly 1,000 guests, which included Donald Trump, Paris and Nikki Hilton, Lakers owner Jerry Buss, Mekhi Phifer and John Elway.
On Sunday, Hefner attended the Long Beach Grand Prix on behalf of his Playboy Racing team where a thousands of fans joined in the singing of "Happy Birthday" to him.
