Heat On Demand has closed a deal for exclusive VOD rights to The Pamela Principle, the XXX debut of celebrity lookalike Pamela Sandersin, according to Angelique of Angelpix, one of the movie’s producers.
Heat On Demand, launched last July, is one of two platforms of Deep Star Broadcasting Systems, Inc., co-owned by John Chambliss of Simon Wolf Productions and Richard Arnold of Pure Play Media. The second platform is the Spanish-language Caliente En Demanda.
Sandersin, a Hungarian actress, is a virtual double for superstar Pamela Anderson. Chambliss told AVN.com he is strongly convinced of her commercial potential. “If she’s marketed properly she could be huge,” he said.
“She is unique. This woman has an aura about her that few women in this industry have. She’s very hot sexually, with an incredible body, but sexuality aside, she is a delightful personality, just really enjoyable to watch.”
The Pamela Principle, to be released on DVD by Sin City in November, will kick off 2006 on Heat on Demand.
“I was going to log it on in December,” Chambliss said, “but January numbers on VOD are generally better, after the holidays.”
Pamela will be sharing the stage with Michael Ninn’s Catherine, another “big, big feature.” The two titles will receive special promotional attention in a separate section of the HOD website, www.HeatOnDemand.com.
Sandersin will also have a special DVD available for her fans, sold only on her website, www.pamelasandersin.com. It’s a non-hardcore “home video” of her summer vacation in Ibiza, the Spanish island resort.
