AVN Hall of Fame performer Nina Hartley has surpassed sales of 500,000 of her "How To" Guides with Adam & Eve Productions after 10 years of producing them, the company announced today.
Hartley has capitalized on the increase in popularity for titles that not only contain hot sex, but also teach.
Hartley won the AVN Award for Best Specialty Release - Spanking for her Guide to Spanking at the 2005 ceremony in January. She also won Best Specialty Release – BDSM for Nina Hartley’s Private Sessions 13 from Bizarre Video.
She will be inducted to the Hustler Hollywood Walk of Fame on March 10. Hartley has signed a book contract with Avery Books, a division of The Penguin Group, the world's largest publishing house, to write an illustrated instructional book based on the Guide series videos. The book is due to be published in the spring of 2006.

Current plans call for Hartley to shoot six new Guide titles in the coming year, with a wide variety of topics.
Some of the previous titles include Nina Hartley's Guide To: Masturbation, Foreplay, Cunnilingus, Fellatio, Private Dancing, Sex toys, Swinging and Anal Sex.
