Alternative billing company Global Exchange Billing (GXB) has announced the release of a 900-number billing solution targeting those north of the U.S. border.
GX900 Canada is a subscription-based service that allows surfers to join a website for a flat rate by making a telephone call.
The company is touting GX900 Canada as the first 900 billing solution for the country.
“In spite of its wealth and proximity to the United States, Canada has always proven a difficult market for adult Internet companies to break into. Challenges with credit card processing and ACH billing result in an inordinate percentage of declined transactions,” said Sam Anson, Director of Business Development for GXB. “With GXB’s newest processing solution in place, pay site owners are able to circumvent these challenges.”
GXB’s Canadian solution is enabled to handle both English and French-speaking callers. The same solution also is available in the United States.
