Guilty Plea in King Case

A photographer's assistant who helped cover up the murder of a Canadian porn actress has pleaded guilty to conspiracy, lying to detectives and tampering with evidence, the Associated Press reported.

Jennifer Mitkus admitted in Montgomery County Court today that she was present when performer Natel King, aka Taylor Sumers, was stabbed to death during a photo shoot at a studio in the Philadelphia suburb of Conshohocken last February, according to the report.

Mitkus maintains that she wasn't involved in the stabbing, but acknowledges that she helped her boss, photographer Anthony Frederick, clean up the bloodied studio and dispose of evidence.

Frederick pleaded guilty in February to third degree murder. He claimed he stabbed King during an argument over money.

Mitkus and Frederick are now awaiting sentencing.
