Affiliate program Guerilla Traffic has turned their subscription newsletter into a webmaster content plug-in with exit-free and non-blind banners strategically placed throughout that link to Guerilla Traffic sites.
Think of it as a new twist on an old source of traffic generation.
“We redid the newsletter and allow webmasters to use it as content on their site. All the banners automatically have their code in it, so any sale they make, they get money for,” director of sales Tera Lord Masters told AVNOnline.com.
It’s just a simple matter of adding a line of code to an existing site, she said.
The plug-in contains content produced by Guerilla Traffic’s in-house writers based on politics, jokes and of course, pictures, similar to what is available at the company’s Daily Dirt site. It’s aimed at an audience with a little more than a porn addiction. But does it convert?
“Yeah, it does. It’s just a bunch of digs on politics – it’s funny and it’s geared to the alternative viewer out there, and most of them do like porn,” Lord Masters said.
In addition to integrating the content however they want, webmasters can utilize tools such as hosted, dynamic MGPs, promotional text, a Google submitter, and gallery and free site headers.
This is the first alternative-content plug-in from Guerilla Traffic, with more to follow. The program houses more than 100 sites ranging from PG to XXX.
