Good Vibrations is relocating their flagship Valencia Street store six blocks down the road from Valencia and 23rd to Valencia and 17th for the best of reasons – they need the extra space.
Their new location will be a 3500 square foot store, 1000 square feet larger than their current location. The store will open later this year.
While the United States economy has taken a sharp downturn over the last few years, business has steadily increased for Good Vibrations. Their condom sales are up 500 percent and their vibrator sales have increased by 200 percent.
“What we find is that in times of economic stress, consumers turn to comfort items that they can enjoy in the privacy of their own home - as a result, we often see an increase in sales when the world situation is challenging,” said Good Vibrations marketing manager, Thomas Roche.
The new store will be offering Good Vibrations University, an after hours curriculum for adults. The classes include everything from “Reinventing Your Relationship” to “Lip Service: A Kissing Workshop” to “Male Erotic Massage”.
The new Good Vibrations store will be located at 603 Valencia Street.
