CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Girlfriends Films is donating $1,000 to Life 4 Paws on behalf of adult newcomer Trinity St. Clair. The July donation is in accordance with the lesbian studio's monthly charity program. Life 4 Paws is a non-profit organization in California's San Fernando Valley providing animal rescue, placement and education services. The charity is also one of the main charities receiving money raised by the upcoming 'Vice Is Nice' benefit party. Animal rescue is a cause very dear to the heart of Girlfriends Films, as seen by its new series Strays.
"I believe there's a pet out there for everyone!" Trinity assured. "I recently moved to LA on my own not knowing anyone. I'm just a small town girl in a big city and don't really know anyone. One can become lonely in such a big place, and I turned to Life 4 Paws. I highly recommend Life 4 Paws because the animals are well taken care of as the organization finds it a home!"
"The day before I was to pick out my cat from Life 4 Paws, I had a shoot with Girlfriends Films," she continued. "When we arrived at our location, it turned out to be the same home I was to visit the next day for the adoption. Fate! I met LuLu and fell in love with her as she purred in my arms. She was the one for me! Thanks to Life 4 Paws, a perfect match was made and another animal placed in a safe haven. Also, thank you to Kelly Holland of Penthouse because it was her house we filmed at and where I met LuLu."
The donation to Life 4 Paws is also in support of the 2nd annual 'Vice Is Nice' party thrown by Kelly Holland, Penthouse Studio's president. 'Vice Is Nice' is a casino night and poker tournament raising money for animal rescues, while promoting awareness within the adult entertainment industry and beyond. A supporter of the event's debut last year, Girlfriends Films and Trinity St. Clair decided to make an even greater contribution in 2011.
The 'Vice Is Nice' party will be held July 23 in Chatsworth, California. Tickets for the event are $15 through pre-registration and $25 at the door. For more information and to RSVP, click here. AVN is a sponsor of the event.
Life 4 Paws is dedicated to supporting the adoption and rescue of shelter animals in California's San Fernando Valley. The non-profit organization focuses on rescue, placement and education within the local community. Life 4 Paws chose West Valley Animal Shelter as its partner in the "Adopt-A-Shelter" program. Life 4 Paws believes deciding to adopt a pet is a wonderful and giving act. Because it is a commitment to another being for the rest of its life, the organization wants to make sure people understand the responsibilities and commitment needed for pet care on a daily basis. Girlfriends Films Vice President Moose noted, "Trinity's charity selection of Life 4 Paws goes hand-in-hand with the release of Strays, our new series. Animal rescue is a cause important to everyone at Girlfriends Films, as well as many of the performers who star in our movies. The contribution also allows us increase our participation with Vice Is Nice. It's a fun party with a great message."
Each month, Girlfriends Films selects an adult performer from received entries and makes a $1,000 donation in her name to the specified charity. 2011 donations have so far included Melissa Monet's choice of Planned Parenthood, Lily Cade's selection of Lambda Legal and Ryan Keely's pick of NPR.
Girlfriends Films has a long history of charitable contributions, having donated over $20,000 in 2010 alone. The company recently restructured its charity program from an annual end-of-year donation to an ongoing, monthly program. Any Girlfriends Films performers interested in participating may apply by emailing the following information to [email protected]: name, AIP "B"-rated-or-above charity of choice, reason(s) for selecting the charity. Chosen performers will be asked to submit a personal photo depicting the performer engaged with the charity, the charity's mission, or a similar charitable act. The photo will be used for promotional purposes.
