A 15-year-old girl was upset last week after she found her new cell phone contained hardcore pornographic images.
Lorraine Fitzgerald told the Glasgow Evening Times last Friday that her daughter Jade found the porn images on her new phone she exchanged from Carphone Warehouse after she turned in her damaged phone.
Fitzgerald said her daughter told her that shortly after she returned, she discovered the phone contained four porn videos, including one involving an animal, along with ringtones containing sexual content.
Carphone officials apologized to Fitzgerald and her daughter and replaced the phone, assuring the two that it would not happen again. They admitted that the phone was a used phone that had been reconditioned but its content was not deleted.
Police were not involved in the incident.
