GayMainStreet.com announces PodPosting

GayMainStreet.com, a gay adult webmaster community, released its new feature over the weekend. PodPosting enables community members to communicate with each other in digital audio. Spawned from the overwhelming popularity of podcasting, the new feature gives individuals the option to make audio posts within the existing text-based community forum.

“This has never been done in the adult industry, or anyplace on the Internet,” says Chief Executive Officer John Paul. “I see it as an exciting new approach to creating a rich and productive environment for business-to-business networking.”

Paul envisions endless possibilities for the new feature. Sponsor programs and business services can add an audio promotion to their press releases and other announcements. Community members can get to know each other in ways never before possible within a text-only environment.

While face-to-face interaction at one of the many industry gatherings is the ideal B2B (business-to-business) environment, Paul sees PodPosting as the next best thing.

“There are a lot of reasons why most webmasters do not attend these business-to-business events. I’m offering the industry an alternative,” he says.

Free software is available for creating the MP3 files that are then attached to a regular post within the GayMainStreet forums. To ensure that everyone in the community can participate, Paul has offered to send any webmaster who needs one a free headset with microphone.

The PodPost feature is only available to registered members. Guests wishing to listen or post can register for free.
