Sam Manning and Kevin Zernickow, the collective owners of Boiling Point Productions, Bronco Studio and Tipo Sesso Productions, have filed suit in the Los Angeles County Superior Court against Pacific Creek Associates, Tribal Pulse Productions and owners Carolynne Mote and David Russell.
“Some folks over at PCA have taken it upon themselves to send out paperwork to various people that I work with claiming ownership of Boiling Point,” Manning told AVN.com, “and [we’ve] contended that within the lawsuit.”
“My products were being sold without my authorization,” Manning explained further, which resulted in damages he estimates to be in excess of $1,000,000, figuring in “loss of the sales of the films, and even access to using my companies because of that. It branches off in a few different directions where various items and monetary amounts have been absconded with.”
The lawsuit also files complaints including but not limited to conversion and refusal to pay invoices for product purchased from Tipo Sesso.
The defendants could not be reached for comment at press time.
