Online adult retailer GameLink.com has announced the expansion of its affiliate marketing division. As part of the expansion, the company is seeking qualified candidates for the new position of affiliate sales channel director, as well as several affiliate sales representatives.
The director will be responsible for executing a global growth strategy, identifying and closing major partnerships/relationships with national and international partners, as well as managing a sales team targeting the webmasters’ community. The team will own all aspects of the sales process from prospecting to negotiation to closing, including the management of domestic and international sales teams.
The company has undergone a number of changes recently. Last week, GameLink partnered with DHD Media to provide personal privacy, security, and reliability to its customers. The company also added content from Shane’s World available for streaming that can be downloaded for Windows Media Player and DivX. The affiliate program for the site offers webmasters 50-percent revshare on initial sells and re-bills, as well as a 10-percent referral bonus program.
“We are aggressively expanding our affiliate program,” says GameLink President Ilan Buni. Buni said the new director would be in charge of national and international affiliates. The company recently increased its European expansion with the addition of offices based in Germany.
According to Mike Voss, director of business development, GameLink is well positioned for a bold move. “Our broad Web services capabilities enable partners and webmasters to select from an array of options, from branded skins of the main site to fully client-managed stores with a unique look and feel and customized inventory. In addition, we are developing foreign-language affiliates, an important step in our international expansion”.
GameLink.com, founded in San Francisco in 1993, offers a VOD library of more than 25,000 titles, as well as DVDs, select toys, and apparel.
