LOS ANGELES—Jazmine Cruz’s entrée into the adult industry was through the swingers community: “My husband was in the military, so he got deployed a lot. He proposed the idea: ‘I’m gonna be gone a lot.’ I didn’t know about swinging until I saw the HBO special.
“We had our first experience in South Korea, with another soldier and his wife. And then we brought in another guy, a military friend of ours. That was the start of it. I was hesitant at first, because I was the jealous type—she might be better at blowjobs, that kind of thing—but my husband said, ‘What if she did it so well that you learned how to do it so well? And you imitate it, but then do it better than her?’ And I’m competitive,” she adds with a chuckle.
From visiting clubs and parties, she connected with online content provider AZ Hotwife (“They gave me a lot of guidance in the porn industry. I didn’t know about testing, my Twitter wasn’t getting numbers.”) before meeting Peter Fitzwell, who provided an in to Team Skeet. “He asked, ‘How’s your acting?’ I don’t know, we’ll find out.
“’Have you ever acted before? Theater, anything?’ No. But I’m really good at sucking dick. Is that a qualification?”
She shot her first commercial scene with Fitzwell, whom she had known for years in the swinging community but had never hooked up with.
“I told my husband I didn’t know if I could handle that, my holes are kinda small. [Fitzwell] told me, ‘I’m not gonna shove it in you.’ He eased into it. He said, ‘You’re really funny without lines’ and it was my first time, so I asked if we could do it without lines. I survived it. It was fun. And I wanted to do it again.”

Cruz, who is from Augusta, Ga., says one of her best scenes is “Traditional Healing Hands” for MYLF, with Johnny Love. “Johnny knows how to get hard, and cum, as a professional. He closed his eyes, he said, ‘I’m going to get inside you, I’m ready to cum.’ I said, ‘Like, now?’
“It’s a psychological thing, he told me. When you do porn, you have to be in that moment. When you force your body to cum, it’s not a natural thing. He’s great at acting, natural talent, down to earth, and easy to get along with.”
She focuses on building her brand.
“I was told, ‘Don’t worry about what the other girls are doing, worry about what makes you stand out. You’re very energetic, but your Twitter is so bland. Be your own brand.’ So many porn stars can fuck. But if you can fuck and be talented, people will watch you, and they’re gonna follow you.”
Along the brand-building line, Cruz and her husband JR Cruz produce a podcast, “Just Cruz’n,” that can be found on YouTube and Spotify, “and I got nominated for Favorite Adult Podcast at the 2026 AVN Awards.”
