LOS ANGELES—Despite any assumptions one could make about her last name, new adult performer Avery Wilds confided that, for the most part, shooting porn allows her to be a stay-at-home mom. “I am on the road working for, maybe, one to two weeks a month; the rest of the time I am here in the Midwest at home with my child and fiancé of seven years,” she revealed.
Home is in the Michigan area, specifically near Detroit, and that is where she first dabbled in adult when, four months after turning 18, Wilds started stripping at Players on 8 Mile Rd. in 2018. It was fun, but she didn’t like crowds. “I had bad anxiety,” she said. “Big events aren’t really my thing. I’m really a private person.” This explains why she missed the recent AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Vegas despite recently signing with OC Modeling for three years. As she said, shooting porn is like being around a small circle of friends—much less stressful than large groups of people.
Her dancing continued for a while, and she also augmented her income with the help of a trio of sugar daddies while living in Florida and Arizona.
The call of coffee kept her grounded as she worked at a Dunkin Donuts in Florida. While that sounds like a bad pun, it was true as Avery Wilds then returned to Detroit and embarked on what would be a three-year stint at being a local bikini barista. “I really loved it, and someday I hope to open my own shop.”
When she lost that job and needed fast money, Wilds met Amber Maddie at a photoshoot. “She was a friend who helped me with this opportunity.”
She flew out to shoot in Arizona (“…since there isn’t a lot more to do in Michigan except fuck”) where her beginning scenes were for the likes of Excogi and BackroomCastingCouch. She thrived doing BG, GG and anal. This was around May of 2025. Among others, early in her career she worked with Tyler Nixon, Isiah Maxwell, Krystal Sparks, Jay Romero, Jovan Jordan, Danny Steele, and Rion King with whom she did a creampie for privatesociety.com.
Avery was hooked. “I like to eat and travel and do porn because I get to go to places with a purpose—and can explore and make money at the same time.” This chill cutie also likes hiking when it is warm and hibernating in the winter. And whenever she gets the chance you can find her fishing, camping, and off-roading.
Still, she says she is a real girly-girl. “I love the color pink. Seven-inch heels are my weakness. I am bisexual and think girls are hot! And—surprise—I don’t watch porn.”
The wildest thing she has done so far (on video) is a DP with Nick Strokes and London export Clarke Kent. Wilds would also like to do more G/G and bondage. “I would also like to try more role-playing. I was doing a lot of teen and ‘step’ stuff; I’d like to branch out and maybe do things like doctor/nurse/patient, teacher/student, and babysitter/dad.” She also admits, “I can get wild. I am not a big drinker but I am a pothead.”
She estimates she has done around 30-40 scenes and is very interested in working for many shooters and companies. Her first DP was for Team Skeet. Coming up soon is a shoot with Alex Jett, a scene for Mike Adriano, and a bondage shoot. “I can’t wait!” she gushed. “I’m trying to catch up on life right now.”
