Adult webmaster resource site AWMcenter.net has launched a free hosting service at AWMhosting.net.
The service offers 50 MB of Web space, 100 GB of data traffic, PHP 4.3.4, CGI, ASP, Python, email stats, FTP access, and a few caveats: Webmasters can only promote sponsors they sign up with using AWM ref code, AWM keeps all 404 traffic, file size is limited to 70 KB, and there are no TGPs, MGPs, or picposts allowed.
Current sponsors are SilverCash and IcooCash.
Sites are hosted on Sun Microsystems servers and were originally connected to TeliaSonera, AboveNet and interoute, along with a direct connection to the Amsterdam Internet Exchange (AMS-IX). AWM’s Peter Kuipers told AVNOnline.com that the company has just expanded to nine connections, including Level3, Global Crossing, WorldCom, cable, and wireless.
“In earlier times free hosters automatically inserted headers and footers. AWMhosting is not doing this. We ask for three things in return – all webmasters must agree to our strict rules, we do not shave traffic from the webmasters, we only take the error traffic generated by the site and the Webmaster can only use sponsors tested and approved by us,” Kuipers said.
In addition, the Kuipers announced that AWM will be hosting Coolios Babelog and its 60,000 daily visitors.
