Male sex-toy company Fleshlight is the winner of John “Boy Alley” Paul’s sig auction held last week on the GoFuckYourself.com webmaster message board.
Fleshlight Cash, affiliate program for Fleshlight, pledged $7,000 to win the placement.
The online auction was held by Paul, who is also chief executive officer of gay affiliate program AlleyBucks, to raise funds for the trade association for the adult entertainment industry, the Free Speech Coalition (FSC), and to help provide winning bidders with exposure for their companies.
The auction received attention through several threads and involved hundreds of posts. EpicCash matched the $7,000 donation, bringing in a total of $14,000 for the FSC.
“The industry really came together to keep the buzz over this auction going. We owe a special ‘thank you’ to industry leaders like Seymore Butts for help in promoting the auction,” says Paul.
Members of the board of directors for the FSC praised the various participants for their help with the fund raising.
“The Free Speech Coalition is a nonprofit trade organization who is holding the government accountable for unconstitutional legislation by filing lawsuits where necessary. The cost for this litigation is staggering. Industry leadership like this online sig auction is to be commended,” says Michelle Freridge, executive director of the FSC. “Through creative fund raising such as this online auction, FSC is helped tremendously to continue our important and expensive efforts on behalf of the adult entertainment industry.”
