Flava Works today announced two firsts with the release of ThugBoy V3: Layin Da Pipe. The DVD is the production company's first release in high definition (HD).
"Delivering HD is just a natural progression for this company," said Thugboy director Keith Kannon. "We've always been on the cutting edge of technology, exemplified by our introduction of iPod Video bonus content on all DVDs over a year ago."
Miami-based Flava Works has been shooting in HD since early 2006, marketing the content online through Flava Works' subscription websites, starting with ThugBoy.com.
The ThugBoy.com brand focuses on urban Black and Latino hardcore sex and has won three Cybersocket Best Ethnic Site awards. The site has been updated weekly in HD for nearly a year. The company's popular live sex website CocoDorm.com has also moved to HD.
Thugboy V3: Layin Da Pipe features six hardcore scenes released as a double disc single package. One disc is a traditional DVD; the other disc provides the same content in HD. The HD disc is playable on a PC or Mac computer as well as an Xbox360 video game console.
