On Friday Wicked Girl Devinn Lane’s attempt to help two deejays on Atlanta’s 96rock radio station play a conceptual joke on the Federal Communications Commission ended with the suspension of the deejays after the joke went awry.
According to theAtlanta Journal-Constitution, Larry Wachs and Eric Von Haessler, the hosts of “The Regular Guys,” a show on Atlanta’s 96rock radio station, invited Lane to participate in a segment called “Backward Smut."
The plan was the hosts would graphically interview Lane on tape, then play the tape backwards on the air; obscenities would be being aired, but since no one would be able to understand it, Wachs and Von Haessler wouldn’t get in trouble with the FCC for violating broadcast standards.
Unfortunately, while taping the explicit interview during a commercial, the mikes stayed live; Lane was heard describing sexual acts in graphic terms as a Honda commercial played.
The deejays are suspended indefinately. 96rock is a Clear Channel radio station
