The annual Exotic Erotic Ball and Expo, held in San Francisco, is moving to New York City where it will take place on June 16 to 17 at Pier94NY.
The event, which organizers say is part masquerade, burlesque and rock concert, will play host to thousands of participants from around the country. It will feature live music, DJs, erotic performers, strippers, sideshows, theme rooms, bondage/domination demos, fetish fashions and a number of adult performers and personalities.
Tera Patrick, Vivid Girl and Teravision president, is also scheduled to make an appearance, along with adult stars Violet Blue and Raquel Devine who will join master of ceremonies Paul Nathan who will choreograph activities on the main stage.
“We are pulling out all the stops for the New York show,” says event entertainment director Eric Masters. “We have performers flying in from Berlin, London and Japan.”
Among them are the Torture King from the Jim Rose Side show from Las Vegas and Rebecca from Rebecca’s Rubber Room from Miami along with burlesque artists The Lollies and Kitten on the Keys.
Nathan said this year’s program will feature more of the same events that have given the Ball & Expo its wild reputation. He is known for creating some of the event’s wildest performances, including “The Erotic Wheel of Fortune,” “Spank the Porn Star,” and “Lesbian First Kiss.”
Event founder Perry Mann said the move to New York came after hearing from fans who sought to have the event moved to the East Coast.
“Every year I get thousands of e-mails from guests and the two most common questions are ‘When are you going to do a ball in the spring?’ and ‘when are you going to do a ball back East?’” he said.
“We’ve finally decided to do both… To officially kick off the start of the summer of 2005.”
