Evil Angel Productions has begun providing video entertainment for the new iPod.
Now Evil Angel’s current trailers are available in Quicktime and Windows Media formats, as well as the iPod’s MPEG-4 format. Viewers can subscribe to the Evil Angel Pudcast and stay up to date on all the new trailers using iTunes.
The trailers will be stored on the user’s computer, where they can be viewed using Quicktime or copied to video iPod to be watched on the go.
At press time, there were 30 Evil Angel trailers available in the subscriber library, with new trailers still being added. After the library of Evil Angel trailers has been made available through iTunes, fans can expect to see one to two new trailers each week.
In addition to the free downloads of trailers, in the near future, subscribers will be able to purchase whole scenes and/or movies from their favorite Evil Angel directors. The first ones available will be the Jamie Huxley scene from Jonni Darkko’s Trophy Whores and the 100-minute, one-scene Buttman’s Ass Adoro.
It has been estimated by Apple that there are already over 20,000 unique providers of video podcasts through iTunes.
