VAN NUYS, Calif.—Spurred by versatile, multi-platform marketing efforts, L For London has enjoyed continuously strong sales since its release by Evil Angel on July 25. The title is the newest of director Jonni Darkko's extravaganzas devoted to the multiple sexual facets of a single, fascinating girl—in this case, gorgeous, buxom Asian-American London Keyes.
Evil Angel Domestic Sales Manager Justin Rich reports robust re-orders and continuing interest in the epic double-DVD.
"Jonni and London's aggressive social media campaign on Facebook and Twitter is really reaching the fans," Rich said.
And those new media avenues aren't the only way customers are being clued in. Rich also credits, "an old school marketing touch, a full-size L For London poster with a signature Jonni Darkko photograph of the lovely London," for helping distributors and retailers spread the word.
As well as E.A.'s bean counters, L For London is satisfying fans of Keyes' many splendors and Darkko's directing artistry.
"Darkko gave me the opportunity to be as nasty and creative as I wanted to be," says Keyes. "Not only did I get to pick out the performers and scenes I wanted to do, but I also got to pick out the wardrobe and music."
Their collaboration yielded nine scenes that make for a relentless, comprehensive pageant of her pornographic talents—and popular XXX niches. Included are a nine-man "blow bang" climaxing in a bukkake of messy facial blasts; interracial intimacy with Lexington Steele's enormous black cock; and an anal- and rim job-rich threesome co-starring Asian beauty Asa Akira and hung stud Manuel Ferrara. That scene marks Keyes' very first on-camera anal performance.
With four-and-a-half hours of deep-throat face-fucking, spit-swapping, anal gapes, girl-girl play, toys, titty fucks, foot jobs and POV perversions, all lovingly captured by Darkko's stylish camera work, L For London is Keyes' ultimate sexual showcase. She appears in every scene, so the movie's sales legs owe not just to marketing, but to the sexy legs (and face, boobs and butt) she keeps happily busy throughout.
