LAS VEGAS—The 2025 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo returned to its longtime home base, now the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, opening on Wednesday at noon. The hotel has a new look, the old rock and roll memorabilia long gone and replaced with a more sedate Southwestern desert design. The towers have been renamed, as have the showrooms, but the building is familiar to scores of adult industry professionals: Adult Expo first came here in 2012.
A little before 11 am, the line of early entries stretched along the wall of the casino to the grand piano at the lobby bar in anticipation of the noon opening. AVN CEO Tony Rios, flanked by 12 CAMStars, cut the ceremonial ribbon at 11:30. One of the cam girls, StellarLoving, cuts herself a three-foot piece of the ribbon, poses with it. "I'm going to keep it," she says. "Turn it into something fun. It's a little, but it's a lot."
The Expo takes place in the newly-renamed Primrose and Agave Halls, and the corridors between. The old Joint, now called The Theater—although the floor panel from the original Joint and commemorative plaque are still just inside the doors—is now used for seminars. MyFreeCams has set up in the hallway, with halo lights and computer hookups on the long white tables. Inside Primrose Hall, Jules Jordan Video is front-and-center, with life-size pictures of stars and five signing desks. Off to one side is a large booth with more MyFreeCams stations, on the other is Ricky's Room with 12 signing desks and two beds, and past that is the Adult Time/Loyal Fans booth, with eight signing stations. Behind these, in the center of the room, is the massive Brazzers setup, with a movie theater size video screen behind seven signing stations, a separate model lounge with mics in front of the yellow couches for the Brazzers Podcast, and an adjacent large store with branded merchandise. Behind Brazzers is BDSM playspace The Lair, Sex Like Real, and Motorbunny.
The adjacent Agave Hall is populated with smaller booths, including talent agencies, individual performers, product sales, and online streamers, in no particular order, to encourage exploration.
"I told 'em to be here at 12, they'll probably show up at 12:30," chuckled Chris at Foxxx Modeling. One-year veteran Stella Luxx, at the Invision booth, said she was looking forward to being a Trophy Girl at the AVN Awards Saturday night. "I'm really happy to be here. Very excited." Mark Schechter, at ATMLA, read off an alphabetical list of his performers appearing at Expo from Alex Grey to Whitney OC, including Amirah Adara, in from Europe; the returning Chanell Heart; Cory Chase ("One day she's gonna win that MILF award, I'm gonna do this until I'm 90"); Euro-import Ema Karter; Lily Starfire; Millie Morgan; Best New Starlet nominee Myra Moans; and veterans Remy LaCroix and Romi Rain.
Two-time Trans Performer of the Year Emma Rose said she's starting her own studio: "I'm getting really excited to start doing my own productions. Getting behind the camera as well. I love hot, passionate sex. I like people who really want to fuck: they aren’t there to work, they're there to have a sexy good time. Raw animal sex, but more cinematic. Not lights everywhere." Start date is "sometime in the spring."
Outside the show proper, Vixen has a pop-up store with molded Fleshlights for sale and signing stations, with Vicki Chase, Maitland Ward, Alina Lopez, Valentina Nappi, Angel Youngs, Blake Blossom and Vanna Bardot among those signing. The room also houses the ANE Boutique, adjunct to the trade-only ANE Pleasure Products Expo, with high-end sex toys available for sale to consumers. Back inside the show, Gal Ritchie, Kira Noir, Violet Myers, and Abigaiil Morris were spotted signing for Brazzers. Anna Claire Clouds said "I'm very excited, I'm so excited for the show" in a momentary break between signing for fans at the Jules Jordan booth.
"I'm happy to be back here at AVN for the second year with our Inside the Industry Legends booth," James Bartholet told AVN. "I'm bringing 20 stars here, some of whom haven't been at AVN in years. We have Gauge here. She hasn’t done any of these in a long time." Veteran performers Ginger Lynn, Christy Canyon, Brad Armstrong and Domonique Simone are among those scheduled to appear during the show.
Pro 13 is a PASS-certified home sample collection kit, Dr. K told AVN at the company's booth. "We collect blood and swabs. There's a shoulder patch collection device, and while you’re on a tele-visit with us, it collects the right amount of blood." The samples are packaged on-camera and there are molecular markers to verify the identity of the person giving the sample. "It's cheaper than most of the clinics—in L.A. or Vegas you can find a slightly cheaper price — and there's no travel. You send it back with a FedEx overnight label, and we result it out the day we receive it, or the next weekday."
"It's going wonderfully, thank you," Leana Lovings told AVN. "I'm just so happy to see my fans here in person." Speaking of her Best Supporting Actress-nominated performance in Adult Time's production "Birth," Lovings said "It took me about a month to really get into character. I spent a lot of time getting myself into the role, looking up what it is to be a 'traditional wife' and a traditional doula. The technique that I give in that video with Casey Calvert is an actual yoni stimulation massage. In another scene, I actually genuinely cried. It was very intense. I think that's what made that project such an amazing and powerful piece."
At the Jules Jordan Video booth, Rissa May was surveying her second Expo: "I'm more prepared. I know how things run now. How to interact with the fans, make them feel comfortable and welcome. Last year I was a little more shy." Across the way, at the Ricky's Room booth, Ana Foxxx said, "So far, so good. I'm seeing butt cheeks and titties, I can't complain. I'm looking forward to meeting my fans. I didn't make it last year. I got a little bit of FOMO and I missed them." She's going to be signing at Honey Burdette lingerie boutique at the Fashion Show mall on Thursday. "It's one of the most expensive lingerie brands out there, and a lot of us lovely ladies love to wear it. I am definitely shopping." Also at Ricky's Room, Ameena Green said, "I'm super excited. There's actually promo of me around the building. A lot of people got here before I did and sent me pictures of it. I'm happy to see other performers here. This is my third year, and each year I've evolved a little bit more. The first year I did not know what I was doing. Barely brought anything. I was so confused. Each year I've brought a little bit more."
Blake Lovely, at the Nexxxt Level booth, said she was looking forward to "meeting fans, and it's a great opportunity to see all of your friends. We're rarely all together in the same space. This is amazing for that." She's nominated for Best Trans Newcomer and Favorite Trans Star at the Awards on Saturday. "I'm really excited to take what I did my first year and push myself even farther." Also at Nexxxt Level, Yaya Gingersnatch said "I feel I've got a rhythm. I feel that I'm where I need to be. I like calmer situations, lower music, more of a chill atmosphere, but I like meeting the fans, people who admire the work that I do."
At the ATMLA booth, Jayne Doh told AVN that she was looking forward to the AVN Awards: "My red carpet dress is so nice. It's hand-beaded, everything's made by hand. It's gorgeous. There's feathers, it's kind of a nude color, and it's got crystals. It's so hot, I was like 'I need to get married in this.' I want to fuck in it too, I'll get married later. I'm gonna live in that dress." At the SexLikeReal booth, second-year veteran and Best New Starlet nominee Angel Windell said "I love it. I'm way more prepared. I got a wagon, I got my banner, everything is ready and printed on time, my outfits look hot. I'm having a good time. Now I can relax, I know what to do."
Karla Lane, at the Motorbunny booth, said, "I was talking to some of the staff at the hotel, and they're happy to have us back. They missed us, and when they heard we were someplace else, they felt like they were missing part of their family. I love being back. We know the place. It feels like going back home. I know where I'm going. I'm not getting lost, I know where the bar is, I know where the bathrooms are." Zoey Foxx felt the same way: "We're finally back! I'm so happy. So many good memories here: fans, and friends, and everyone."
Nicole Kitt was admiring her glam version on her life-size poster at the OC Modeling booth: "She's hot. She's her own enigma. I see her as her own person." Kitt told AVN "It's been amazing, being here. There are so many familiar faces, so many people I haven’t seen in a year. It's a coming-together, a gathering. The fans are having an amazing time. I met a few of them at the bar last night. I used to watch the AVNs at the old Hard Rock Hotel, and here we are back where that took place. I think that has re-energized everyone: performers, fans, all of us."
As the day wound down, Jules Jordan told AVN "It's been great. First day is usually unrivaled. A lot of fans coming through. Good to see the usual characters, the superfans. Familiar faces. We have some new people signing for us, different from previous years. Anna Claire Clouds is our big star. She had a great year; we had a showcase with her. We're showcasing her. Carmen Caliente is back from a hiatus. There'll be a few surprise visits."
"This is my first one. All the girls had fun," Ricky Johnson said as he was closing down his Ricky's Room booth. "All the girls talking to someone at the same time. For me, it's about the times: I have a lot of girls and only so many podiums. At one point I had 15 girls signing and only 12 podiums. The timing was messed up. But all the girls had fun. They used the bed, they became friends with each other, a little bit of community. We had some new girls who didn't know anybody and now they know each other.
"I'm pretty happy. I'm excited for the next few days."
