Former Metro contract star Kelly Erikson says she is taking a break from the adult business after a court dispute with her former studio was settled late last year.
“I’m a little tired of the business right now and I’m thinking of going back to performing, but I also want to direct,” she said.
Last year, Erikson refused to work and accused Metro of failing to pay her while the studio countered with a breach of contract lawsuit which was later dropped.
Today, Erikson says she is a free agent and is in talks with Defiance Pictures about directing gonzo movies for them.
“I’m friends with a lot of people at Defiance and I would love to go work over there,” she said.
Although Erikson admitted she may not return to performing until April, she says her future may lay behind the camera rather than in front of it.
“I’ve been spending time on sets watching the directors work and I get the feel for it,” she said.
“I’m really interested in doing high-end gonzo.”
Erikson, who is known for last year’s Very Very Bad Santa, says she plans to hit the strip club circuit next month. Last fall, Erikson and fellow performer Shy Love performed together in clubs around the country as part of the Heaven and Hell show.
“I loved working with Shy and meeting the fans. It was awesome.”
