Mara Epstein has become the national sales manager for Bizarre Video.
Epstein is a seasoned industry professional who has held similar positions at companies such as Metro Interactive, Mile High Media and Private USA.
She will be working closely with Bizarre president Keith Gordon.
“We’re taking Bizarre to the next level and I’m joining Bizarre to help do that,” Epstein told AVN.com. “Between Keith and myself we have a lot of years of experience.”
She said that she has found that many people are not properly marketing the fetish genre.
“They’re putting it in with the mainstream stuff and it’s really doing a disservice to the fetish market,” Epstein said. “What I’ve also learned is that fetish is a lot more than just bondage. I’m here to educate and help Bizarre stimulate people’s fetish senses.”
She added, “A lot of people don’t know that Bizarre carries instructional, how-to videos from cross dressing to toe-sucking. It’s not all about just tying people up. We even have wrestling and titles from the Gothic Media label. We have something for everyone.”
Bizarre currently releases four new titles per month but has plans to increase its schedule.
