LOS ANGELES—Elly Clutch followed her instincts to this moment of her career.
The seasoned content creator, who has built a reputation as a stellar performer in recent years thanks to more than a hundred high-profile collabs, knew she was ready to take the next step.
And after careful consideration, she chose to kick off the summer by making her mainstream porn debut with Brazzers.
Clutch got down with Scott Nails and Luna Star in a three-way directed by Lea Lexis titled "Lights, Camera, Facial!" that will go live on Brazzers this Thursday.
The gorgeous former Twitch streamer—who won Nicest Pussy at the 7th annual Pornhub Awards in May—says she decided to align with Brazzers for many reasons.
“They’ve always been so kind to me from the very beginning,” Elly explains. “I’ve traveled with them and they always made me feel like I was part of the family. They’ve been extremely kind to me—even when I was brand new they treated me with the same sort of respect. I never felt like I wasn’t good enough.
“So I always had that in the back of my mind that eventually if this was something I chose to do that they would be a really good option.”
Elly tells AVN her mainstream move isn’t just a new personal challenge, it’s also a way for her to give back to the fans that have supported her during every phase of her adult entertainment journey.
“I wanted to do something big for me and for my fans,” she says. “I wanted them to see me in a new setting. Making self-produced content is incredible and amazing and my first love of course, but I wanted to do something that I wouldn’t be able do on my own and show people I can do it.
“I kind of looked around and weighed a couple of my options. A lot of people have approached me in the past but I made the decision I wanted to wait.
“But something kind of told me it was the right time. I kind of feel like right now I’m at the top of my game in a lot of ways and what better way to kind of capture that, especially over the summer… It felt like good timing.”
It turned into a great deal, too.
Clutch not only completed her first mainstream boy/girl scene with Brazzers, she also will be featured in many more outings that are coming soon, signing on for an undisclosed amount of scenes for ZZ in the coming weeks.
Her package includes several scheduled performances for Brazzers and a couple more for a major feature produced by sister company Digital Playground in which Clutch has a principal role.
“I’m excited to see what my fans think and what the community thinks,” Elly says. “I’m so happy they are willing to have me and work with me, rather than just doing one scene.”
Clutch tells AVN she feels especially fortunate to have been cast opposite Brazzers contract performers Luna Star and Scott Nails for her debut in what she describes as a “campy and fun” scenario based on the premise that it’s her first scene.
“I did some things that I’ve never done before,” Clutch says with a smile, adding that she has long admired Luna Star’s screen prowess.
“I look up to Luna a lot, she’s such a great performer and she has the uncanny ability to lift up everybody around her, so I am absolutely thrilled that she was in the scene. And Scott is the best of the best.
“Lea Lexis directed and she’s amazing. She’s really wonderful. I love the way she has such a creative vision for everything.”
Lexis tells AVN she already loves working Clutch.
“Elly on top of being a captivating beauty is also a great performer,” Lea says. “It was a pleasure directing her. I often tell talent on set ‘make me believe you’ as a bit of a joke, but also to encourage them to commit to a feeling or sensation. However with Elly that is not necessary.
“She is naturally very expressive and she absolutely held her own against such strong veterans like Luna and Scott. There are so many beautiful and exciting things about Elly and I think it’s a wonderful thing to finally see her on our Brazzers sets. She will absolutely shine!”
Nails, who was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in January, tells AVN he didn’t realize that the three-way he did with Star and Clutch was Elly’s first foray into mainstream studio work.
“It was a cowboy theme,” Nails recalls. “I had better cowboy wardrobe at my house, so I Ubered it to set. I didn’t know it was her first scene. I didn’t really know shit because I wasn’t in the intro. I just walked in after the two girls already started fucking.
“Elly told me after it was her first-ever mainstream shoot. I would have never guessed. The girl likes sex and takes direction. It was a great scene and obviously adding Luna… But as far as Elly, she’s a natural.”
Nails continues, “I just worked with her again on a [Digital Playground] set. I believe she said it was her first feature. The girl killed it. Didn’t complain once. Knew all her lines. The sex was not easy. It was hot (temperature), with minimal places to work, it was a bar.
“Long days… She had a wedding dress on the whole time with the heat. I watched her do a fight scene for two or three hours and she got sprayed in the eye with blood. Not one time did she bitch. Great attitude the whole time. I was impressed. She’s gonna go far for sure.”
Elly reveals her second scene for Brazzers—with Ricky Johnson—is based on an idea that she pitched to the ZZ team.
“And they were able to write a script around that,” Clutch says. “And Ricky and I did something that I don’t know that’s ever been done before, especially with Brazzers. So I’m excited to see how it turns out and see everyone’s reaction.”
She squared off with Victor Ray for her third scene and “it was really great,” Clutch adds.
Elly’s best friend, fellow performer Chloe Foxxe, joined her on set that day as a “sextra.”
“We’ve been best friends for seven years. She was my best friend before this industry, so it’s really cool to have my best friend on set with me,” says Clutch, who performed with Ray under the direction of Marvin Love. “My first girl/girl ever was with Chloe. It’s great to be able to have her along on my journey.”
Meanwhile, Brazzers left nothing to chance with Clutch’s fourth scene, matching her up with the three-time AVN Male Performer of the Year and contract stud, Mick Blue.
“He’s phenomenal,” Elly says. “All of the men that I’ve worked with are just top of the line.”
Clutch worked as a server, a personal assistant and a model prior to the pandemic, but lost all three gigs during the nationwide shutdown.
“And I was in school. I was always a really hard worker, I never shied away from working. The last two years of school I was paying for myself, trying to do whatever I could, being a student and also needing to work,” Elly says.
A communications major with a minor in business, the West Coast native says humbly, “I never planned on making it this far.”
She streamed on Twitch, gaining a modest but enthusiastic following in 2021 before launching her OnlyFans, where she was doing mostly lewd solos for about a year.
“I just thought, oh I think I’ll try this and see if it works and now it’s too late,” Elly jokes. “I had a decent following of about 25 to 50 viewers at a time on Twitch. I had a small community that wanted to see me naked.
“Also around that time I started posting on Reddit and TikTok, where my first community was.”
About a year after starting her content journey, she began doing boy/girl content with her fiancee, Jak Knife, who took home the trophy for Most Popular Male Performer at this year’s Pornhub Awards.
Clutch admits she always was curious about sex work; she used to watch documentaries about the adult industry and also was a fan of a notorious reality TV show.
“I grew up watching The Girls Next Door,” she says. “I thought it was so cool that somebody owned their sexuality the way those girls did. I never felt I would be able to do that, I was too scared. But as I started doing content I felt so much empowerment and so much joy.
“And being in the content creation space allowed me the time to really hone my craft. I’ve been able to work on things slowly over time and I feel like by doing [mainstream] now that it’s really teaching me so much more.”
Clutch did her first boy/girl work with someone other than Jak Knife in January 2024, when she took on Max Fills. She says that she and Knife have been together for seven years and she couldn’t have gotten this far without his support.
“I feel very fortunate that we have such a strong foundation with each other, and we’re able to work together to create something really cool and also have our independent careers. He’s my No. 1 fan and I’m his No. 1 fan,” Clutch tells AVN. “We come home and have a really healthy and happy relationship.”
Elly’s steady rise as a creator is evident on her Pornhub channel, where today she is ranked 38th in the world—a remarkable ascent in just two years since she launched her presence there. Clutch at press time had 442,000-plus subscribers with more than 391 million video views.
“It’s so wild how things can change in such a short period of time and just how fortunate I feel for that,” she continues. “There are times where it is really shocking to me.”
Clutch says that sometimes she even feels “a little bit of impostor syndrome.”
“There are times where I’m like, oh my gosh, do I deserve this? Is this real? I kind of get whiplash a little bit, but with the things that I’ve had to sacrifice in my life, I do deserve it. I worked really hard for this,” she says.
“If anything, I’m just really, really grateful that what I do resonates with people and they find some connection with it. And I’m able make really good porn that makes people feel good.
“I love being a part of such an amazing community. This is the first place I feel like I finally belong.”
Clutch notes she has no plans to stop creating content now that’s she’s doing mainstream scenes.
“As long as I’m in the adult world, content is going to be where my focus is going to lie,” she says. “I like being able to work from home with a flexible schedule and doing selective work with companies.
“There would be no porn if it wasn’t for the mainstream world. It sets the standard for safety and quality, but I’ll be continuing to do content.”
She expects to complete her first deal with Brazzers by the end of July and hopes that everything is released by the fall.
“I’m the most excited to just keep working with Brazzers and keep doing new things and push myself in different ways,” Elly says.
