A retired school teacher is vowing not to pay a cable television bill showing she owes $1,432 for pornographic movies and gangsta rap programming she never received.
The Associated Press reported Sunday that the charges in dispute appeared shortly after she bundled her computer, phone and cable TV services together through Cablevision to cut costs.
A Cablevision spokesman said Lee may not have ordered the pay-per-view programs, but that others in her household may have, thus she’s required to pay for them.
Although the 62-year-old Lee claimed her services were likely pirated, Cablevision says they have not discovered any problems with her connection.
The company, however, has suspended the charges until it completes an investigation.
