Attorney and Glory Media (Strip Clubs Across America) producer Lakia Somerville has joined Edge Interactive as vice president of business development, Edge announced May 22.
Somerville will use her intellectual property background and corporate entertainment experience in her new position, Edge said in a statement. She'll take charge of developing, marketing, and managing new Edge products as well as overseeing marketing and sales for the company's 500,000 and climbing images and video content.
Her first chore will be building a new, fresh marketing campaign for Edge's flagship Webmaster products. If you'd like her to build your site a custom lease gallery, e-mail her, Edge said.
Edge also brought in another Glory Media figure, Barella Shakoor, as a new sales account executive, specializing in hardcore, fetish, and specialty niche content. "You probably recognize the vivacious Barella from the past few Internext shows in Las Vegas, and Hollywood, Florida, but be forewarned, that this young lady is very talented but not talent," Edge said. "So when you call or email her be polite and she will walk you through Edge's many offerings of stills, videos, and lease galleries."
