In the field of gay adult entertainment, one thing is certain: Straight men rock. Indeed, the proliferation of gay-for-pay stars in the brick-and-mortar porn world has increased exponentially since the era was heralded by legendary directors like Matt Sterling and William Higgins in the early 1980s, and shows no signs of slowing down. When the Internet was introduced, the online porn boom brought many new sites devoted to the appreciation (and, indeed, worship) of hetero cock to the forefront, including such contemporary giants as AmateurStraightGuys.com and CuriousCash.com.
Jeremy East is in a field all by himself. Literally. After being introduced to adult modeling a few years back, the industrious, Boston-based twenty-something quickly realized the potential to earn a living off his Abercrombie-ready good looks, and – having obtained his degree in graphic design – decided to launch his very own vanity site, JeremyEast.com. Through exclusive photo sets and videos of his daily masturbation sessions, East quickly has established himself as a favorite among gay surfers eager to watch him stroke his own, um, ego while on camera.
AVNOnline.com recently touched base with the frisky young entrepreneur to inquire about salacious fan mail, what kind of porn he likes to watch while getting off, and what it's like being a straight guy that lots of gay guys want to sleep with.
Ken Knox: OK, so tell me, how did JeremyEast.com get started?

Jeremy East: I started modeling for a couple websites a couple years ago. A friend was doing it and he said, "Hey, you wanna do this and make some money, 'cause I know this guy," so I did some work for CapturedGuys.com and BukBuddies.com, and I made some money. So then I was, like, "Why don't I just go start my own website? So instead of just getting a few hundred dollars for a shoot, I'll get all the money!"
What was your very first filming session for the site like? Were you nervous?
Oh yeah. With CapturedGuys.com, though, you didn't have to get naked. You just go there, they put some rope on you, and that's it. [Laughs.] The webmaster is a good guy, so that was real nice.
And you decided to stick with it?
Well, I figured, while I'm young, it's an intelligent move on my part to keep doing this and make as much money as I can. I can't say that I loved it and would have done it for free. It's a job.
Fair enough. What about designing the site on your own? Had you always been doing Web design?
Yeah, I went to college and have a degree in graphic design.
Had you done any personal filming of your own with any of your girlfriends? No, I haven't really.
Is exhibitionism something that's always turned you on?No, not really. [Laughs.] It was more of a business move for me.
Wow. It seems kind of weird that you'd be in this field, then. Most porn stars talk about how that is a big part of the turn-on for them.
I know, it is kind of odd. [Laughs.] At some point down the road, I'm probably going to switch to being just a webmaster and switch to the back side.
Interesting choice of words there, buddy. [Laughs.] I noticed you seem to always be watching some kind of porn when you film your scenes. So tell me: Any favorites?
Lesbians! [Laughs.]
Obviously, the site is geared primarily toward gay men. So, how does it feel knowing that there are any number of thousands of gay dudes stroking off while watching you do the same?
Hey, it's cool. I don't care. Whatever gets you off. [Laughs.]
I'd gamble to say that you've had your share of fawning gay guys sending you personal messages about how much you, um, inspire them, huh?
Oh yeah! You have no idea. I get email every single day.
What's the most bizarre fan mail you've received?Oh, my God. I've gotten some weird ones. A lot of guys write and say, "Hey, dude, we should get together," then they start telling me about all the stuff we should do together, and I'm, like, "Hey, no we shouldn't do any of that." [Laughs.] They get really graphic.
How did you come up with the nickname The Real Bear? From my hairy chest. The fans were writing that they wanted to see more of my hairy chest.
You feature your feet a good deal on the site. Do you have any kind of a foot fetish yourself?
No, I don't, not even with women. That's another thing requested by the fans. They keep asking to see more feet.
I'm curious to know what the women you date think of what you do for a living?Oh, they don't know! [Laughs.] I don't tell them.
Really? Well, you know there are lots of gay-for-pay stars whose wives come to the set with them and who get turned on by that…
Yeah, you're right. Someone might be interested in that. That'd be great.
I'm sure you know there are plenty of gay-for-pay porn performers. Have you had offers from gay porn people to appear in their movies?
Yeah, I've had offers, but I turned them all down. It's just not my thing.
What's it like being a straight guy performing in a gay niche?
It's weird. [Laughs.] I don't know how to describe it other than that. It's funny, because I do get so many emails, and I have to keep saying, "No, I'm not gay; this is just the business I'm in right now." And they're, like, "No, you have to be gay." And I'm, like, "No, I don't have to be gay." [Laughs.] But I don't mind. It's all part of the job.
What kinds of plans do you have for the site's future?I plan on going a little while longer. I'm not sure – maybe a few years, and then I'm going to switch to the back end and be a webmaster. I'm not sure how far I'm going to take JeremyEast.com. I might use it to build future websites. At some point, I want to take it out of my day and be done with it and focus on a couple other sites that I want to launch. I have a multiple-model site planned to launch in the near future, and it will be another gay-themed site, so I'm looking forward to getting that off the ground. After that, I guess we'll just have to see.
Well, good luck to you. You can be sure that a lot of us are interested in seeing what you do with your back end. [Grins.]
Great!
Finish this sentence for me. My dick is to me like……like Secret deodorant: strong enough for a man, but made for a woman.
And the hearts of gay men are breaking all over the world…
