LOS ANGELES—Dredd wants fans to know his new website is kicking off with some of the best work of his storied career.
Now in his 11th year as a full-time performer, the 2024 AVN Award-winning Favorite Male Porn Star tells AVN he’s thankful to be in the position to launch OfficialDreddXXX.com, where almost 100 of his notorious sex scenes can be found in one place.
He’ll unveil the project that’s been well over a year in the making this Sunday—on 4-20.
“I would say the action—the performances—that’s what’s gonna speak for itself more than anything,” Dredd says. “It’s a site with top-quality girls and high-intensity action, which is something I’ve always taken pride in with the performance of it all and laying it on the line.
“The fans will not be disappointed.”
The man known for having one of the biggest packages in porn explains that he’d been thinking about creating an official site for years, but he waited until the timing was right.
“I had been offered chances to go in on a website with other people,” Dredd explains. “But I wanted totality, I wanted all of it and I wanted it to have the impact I feel it deserves.
“At this stage in my career having something that was my own pride and joy was what I really wanted.”
He continues, “It feels like it’s taken forever but it also feels like it’s been done the right way. A lot of people who’ve been waiting on it are going to be very excited.”
The native New Yorker says one of the primary advantages of having dozens of his favorite scenes on OfficialDreddXXX is it will make it easier for fans to choose what they want to watch.
Leaving nothing to chance for the launch, he hand-picked encounters with many of the most bankable performers in adult, including stars such as Angela White, Adriana Chechik, Lena Paul, Abigail Mac, Kazumi, Alexis Fawx, Nicole Doshi, Kendra Sunderland, Kimmy Granger, Karmen Karma and many more. Plus there is plenty of unreleased content in the queue—not to mention access to the replica Dredd dong and exclusive merch.
“I went with some of the more recent scenes when I really developed a certain style and look that I felt was different from what everybody else is doing,” Dredd says. “Even as a fan, I’m more into the in-your-face [camera angles], the wow factor.”
Dredd tells AVN he worked closely with Mike Wylde of Wylde Sites on the look, feel and functionality of OfficialDreddXXX.
“He was a huge part. He brought it to life. He designed everything,” Dredd says.
Dredd also lauded the work of Noah Crabtree, who has become his go-to videographer in addition to being his assistant. Crabtree is a second-generation porn pro whose father is Elliot Clixx—who is Jules Jordan’s longtime videographer.
“He’s been doing a great job,” Dredd says. “I could’ve gone with a bunch of other people, but knowing his dad is what really solidified it. He’s like a chip off the old block.
“It took a while for him to get used to how I wanted him to shoot because it’s not like he was going on set with his dad. So I had to really work with him. It can be a pretty shocking thing to suddenly step in a room where you have me with one of those beautiful porn girls and everything that’s going on.
“But he got it and now he’s capturing things exactly the way I want him to do it.”
Crabtree tells AVN because of his dad he’s "grown up with a camera" in his hand—and he’s been working as Dredd’s videographer since early 2024. Among his various other duties are uploading scenes to the site and assisting with the marketing and promotional efforts, such as posting trailers.
“It’s definitely been a lot of work,” Crabtree says. “But Dredd has given me the space to do it. I’m still pretty young and just kind of starting off in the industry so it’s been really exciting. To help Dredd with something so big and be his guy it’s been really cool and very rewarding. He’s an amazing person to work with and the best boss I’ve ever had.”
Crabtree says he’s adapted to Dredd’s hybrid POV style.
“He does do a lot of the camerawork himself. There’ll be times especially during the end of the shoot where he’ll hold the camera,” Noah adds.
Dredd recalls discovering his father’s porn stash at a young age and becoming an avid fan decades prior to making his debut.
He took notice of all-time greats such as Vanessa Del Rio, Ginger Lynn and Christy Canyon, whom he got to perform with in 2023.
“And I always had it in my head—a lot of guys have this—that I could do that. Or at least I’d like to try. Of course you had to have the right connections to get into it,” Dredd says.
And Dredd didn’t know anyone who could make it happen while he was grinding at his 9-to-5 at a pharmaceutical company. Then in 2008 he recalls listening to the “Howard Stern Show” on satellite radio when Stern was interviewing a guy representing Hush Hush Entertainment. The topic was the search for the new “Blackzilla.”
“So they were in search of a guy who is well endowed with a good personality and it was like, ‘If you think you got what it takes, send us some pictures,’” Dredd says.
“And I was just listening to it and it clicked that this is my shot. I was in my late 30s at the time—better late than never. So I took a few pictures and sent them in and they called me the next day and said we’ll fly you out here to LA and see how you do in front of a camera.”
But Dredd had second thoughts and decided to turn down the offer. They kept calling him anyway.
Eventually, he did a brief stint as Blackzilla for Hush Hush following the departure of Shane Diesel; the studio later changed the name of the character to Darkzilla.
"That was the start of it, around 2009, but I wasn’t ready at that time,” Dredd admits. “It turned out to be a lot harder than I thought and I only shot a handful of scenes and then went away.”
While he was inactive from adult performing from 2010-14, he became involved in the swingers scene, going to various clubs and lifestyle parties where he’d often have sex in front of a group of people.
By 2015, a girl he knew told him she was making a lot of money webcamming and encouraged him to re-enter adult entertainment.
“I said no, that ship sailed, it’s not for me. But she kept twisting my arm and twisting my arm,” Dredd says.
She even persuaded him to start his Twitter page—and in 2015 Dredd re-connected with the same guys at Hush Hush.
“I was way more comfortable this time and it was lot of easier and a lot more fun,” he says. “I thought now I can make a run out of this.
“One thing just led to another and from there I shot two scenes for Dogfart.”
One of those scenes was with India Summer, who then referred Dredd to Francesca Le and Mark Wood and their studio, LeWood Productions, which is distributed by Evil Angel.
Dredd performed with LeWood for about eight months and then got a call from Jules Jordan that changed his career trajectory forever.
Jordan and Dredd became a winning team from the start and went on to create nine volumes of Dredd’s namesake series, Dredd; four volumes of Dredd Up Your Ass; two volumes each of Dredd’s Devastation and Dredd’s Teen Devastation; and titles such as Dredd v. MILF, Dredd’s Big Booties and Dredd: Big Dick Energy.
“I was very familiar with Jules and the work he did with Lex [Steele] and Mandingo,” Dredd recalls. “That was the pitch. He said look at my body of work, look at what I’ve done with Lex and Mandingo. I said, ‘Say no more, I’m with you.’ I really liked his approach—just look at my resume.
"And for seven years we just shot some outstanding stuff.”
Dredd adds, “At the beginning of shooting for Jules I also shot for Greg Lansky and Blacked. I did maybe 20 scenes with them and then I stopped and shot strictly with Jules.”
This weekend the next chapter of Dredd’s XXX journey will be underway.
“I just thought it was time to take that next step,” he tells AVN. “I will always be thankful for Jules. He took me further than anybody else and I’ll always be appreciative of that.
“And it’s not like I’m not gonna shoot again for him. I do believe I will at some point, but the emphasis for now is on the site and getting that up and running.”
