Dorcel Unveils Clara Mia's Sophomore Directing Effort 'Close-Up'

PARIS—International production house Dorcel has released Close-Up, the second directorial effort from acclaimed star Clara Mia.

Following the critical success of Mia's debut feature Say You Love Me, the new offering is a collection of four "artfully distinct and visually stunning encounters," promo materials tout.

Elaborates a provided synopsis, "The first scene unfolds in a minimalist white setting, bathed in light, where Lola Bellucci, Léa Pam and Tabatha Lust take turns succumbing to the tender embraces of Kristof Cale. From there, the film shifts into darker tones, as Eve Sweet—blindfolded and lightly bound—shares a fiery, passionate encounter with Mike Hilton against a backdrop shaded in black and red.

"The tone shifts once again in Mirror, where Tabatha, gazing into her reflection while applying lipstick, is joined by Eve. Their subtle gestures and glances spark a rising tension that quickly gives way to a tender yet magnetic union," the synopsis continues. "Finally, Close-Up blossoms into a celebration of spring and renewal, as Diana Lawrence, Kristof and Joe Di Marco surrender to one another in a flower-filled tableau that exudes freedom, vitality and unrestrained desire."

Close-Up is now streaming on DorcelVision.com and available on major VOD platforms everywhere. The DVD edition will be distributed in the U.S. exclusively through Pulse Distribution.
