LOS ANGELES—Feminist filmmaker Inka Winter has announced the release of Olivia, a new film for Dorcel Vision that tackles an unspoken yet deeply personal experience for millions of women: perimenopause.
Starring Jet Setting Jasmine, Olivia follows the journey of a best-selling romance author struggling with shifting hormones, creative block, and self-doubt. As Olivia navigates the physical and emotional changes of perimenopause, she embarks on a path of rediscovery—of her body, her sexuality and the deep connections that reignite her sense of self. Through meaningful encounters and mindful exploration, she learns that vulnerability can be a source of strength and pleasure.
For Winter, this film is one of her most important yet. “Olivia embodies what I mean when I say I make feminist films,” Winter explains. “Women are made to feel like they have to hide the parts of themselves that change with age—like menopause is something shameful, rather than a natural and powerful transformation. This is a story about embracing that change, and I believe Olivia is the kind of film that can expand the way we think about sex, aging and desire.”
The film also features an all-star supporting cast, including Ana Foxxx, Nicole Kitt, Sean Michaels, Tony Genius, King Noire and Andre Stone.
“This film is about reclaiming sexuality on your own terms,” Winter continues. “It’s about self-acceptance, about moving through fear and change with curiosity instead of shame. And yes, it’s also about mind-blowing, deeply connected sex—because pleasure is a vital part of self-discovery, no matter your age.”
Olivia is now available to watch exclusively at DorcelVision.com.
