Doghouse Digital has announced plans to release Shut Up & Fuck Me, Vol. 1, which marks the directing debut of Lauren Phoenix, the reigning AVN Female Performer of the Year.
Phoenix performs in three of the five scenes of the all-anal release that also features Melissa Lauren, Destiny, Brooklyn, Aria and Haley Paige.
“I’m very excited, it’s a milestone for me, a goal that I always wanted to achieve and I’m very pleased to have my directorial debut under my belt,” Phoenix told AVN.com Thursday.
Doghouse Digital General Manager Jon B. said he was surprised how quickly word has spread about the title, which will hit the streets on April 20.
“I’ve been getting great feedback,” he said. “Honestly, I’ve had distributors call me and ask me for it already. This may be our most anticipated release of the spring.”
Phoenix’s concept was to let the women take a more dominant role in the extra hardcore scenes. Bobby Manila, who directs interracial lines for Doghouse, did her videography.
“Overall, I love it,” Phoenix said. “Of course, it was the first chance I got to be creative and see my vision come to life. Unfortunately, some of the original cast wasn’t able to make it, but it all turned out really well. It was just really fun to watch as the magic all unfolded in front of me.”
Phoenix personally did a d.p. with Mark Wood and Byron Long, a b/g and a three-girl scene with plenty of anal. Melissa Lauren delivered a strong scene with Alec Knight in other action.
