LOS ANGELES—Digital Playground on Monday unveiled Clash of the Vikings, directed by Danny D and featuring Amirah Adara, Catherine Knight, Xander Corvus and Bilbo Shaggins.
Clash of the Vikings is a two-part series centered on the world of fierce rivalry and sex. Featuring performances by Adara as Thora and Corvus as Ivar, this story brings to life the brutal conflict between two Viking warriors whose feud will determine the fate of their legacies. The sex-appeal of a beautiful maiden Anya (Catherine Knight) triggers a dangerous competition. Guided by the visions of the Seer, Ivar is convinced that Anya is the key to his destiny as Viking King. However, Thora disrupts Ivar’s plans by sparing one of his trusted warriors and taking him under her wing before rescuing Anya from captivity. Ivar rallies his clan for an epic battle to reclaim his future queen. As the dust settles, only one will emerge victoriously and claim the throne, and the heart of Anya.
Adara recounts what it took to channel her inner battle queen.
"I am so excited about Clash of the Vikings,” says Adara. “I want to say a big thank you to Digital Playground, Danny D and Liss for having me in this movie. I was so happy when I got the script, I love the Viking style and I’ve never shot anything like this before! My role is the head of one of the Viking clans, Thora, so I had to be crazy and powerful which fits me perfectly. The styling and makeup was amazing, I really enjoy looks that are not usual. The whole story was breathtaking and we had so much fun shooting it. I'm lucky to have such adorable co-performers like Catherine Knight, Xander Corvus, Dimitri and Bilbo! They are fantastic, professional and I couldn’t wish for better partners. We rocked it!"
Danny D reflects on creating a Viking epic.
“The whole project was fun to create, from pre-production to on set watching our warriors fight,” says Danny. “We had a blast making this production, Xander Corvus would have loved to have made this 10 scenes if he had the choice, understandable as he looked incredible as our lead! As always, thanks to Digital Playground for trusting us with another epic project and the crew for digging deep when it’s movie week.”
Corvus shares Danny D’s enthusiasm.
“The most fun I’ve had making a movie in years,” Corvus enthuses. “Getting to do stage combat in badass wardrobe is peak movie-making fun for me. The icing on the cake of course was working with Catherine and Amirah.”
