LOS ANGELES—Digital Playground today releases the opening chapter of Wanted, a new four-part thriller directed by Ricky Greenwood.
The cast is led by 2025 AVN Awards co-host Blake Blossom and 2024 Male Performer of the Year Isiah Maxwell, alongside Kylie Rocket, Victor Ray, Charlotte Sins, Parker Ambrose and Nathan Bronson.
Explains a company synopsis, "When a string of grisly murders shakes up a quiet town, Agent Vanessa Mann (Blossom) is sent to investigate the situation. Partnered with handsome local sheriff Woodrow Green (Maxwell), their undeniable chemistry begins to blur the line between solving the case and their own fiery passions.
"The investigation turns even hotter when they cross paths with a drifter couple, Mickey (Rocket) and Jack (Ray)," the synopsis continues. "Suspicion hangs thick in the air, and things only get sexier when the mysteriously seductive auto mechanic Angel (Sins) enters the equation."
Blossom shared her excitement about the project.
“I'm so excited for the upcoming release of Wanted,” she said. “My character agent Vanessa Mann takes over a small-town investigation and by using her sexual charms and power dynamic she uncovers the truth behind the murders. This story is intense, passionate and one that will have you guessing who's really the bad guy. Working on this production was one of the greatest experiences I've had working on a set since I've started in the industry. Between the amazing cast, the gun fights and my sexy red car, I think this movie will be a fan favorite for years to come. I also want to thank the crew and production for bringing such an all-star ensemble together and keeping us safe throughout the entire process.”
Echoed Maxwell, “I love the effort and attention to detail that goes into a Greenwood production. His projects always feel major and something you’re proud to be a part of. I’m grateful for the opportunity to lead in this film.”
Rocket reflected on getting into character as Mickey, the drifter.
“I had a great time finally being able to show my acting skills,” she said. “I shot a gun for the first time and that was exhilarating! The whole entire cast was great to work with. Working on a movie at this caliber was an honor and l hope it’s not the last one.”
Ray, too, enthused about being able to showcase his acting ability in the movie.
“Taking part in this Digital Playground feature was such a cool experience,” he remarked. “In my short porn career, I've been complimented on my acting skills a lot, but this was my first time getting to showcase that. I was able to push my boundaries when it comes to acting and not just be worried about my sexual performance but really try to bring some life to my character, and I feel like I did that. When people watch my character, they're going to feel his emotions and feel just how dangerous he could be. I’m very excited for everyone to see the end sequence because that's when my character really shines and, in the end, love prevails is all I'm going to say."
For Sins' part, she commented, “Natural Born Killers has always been one of my favorite films, so when I got the opportunity to work on Wanted, a feature inspired by that wild unapologetic energy, it was a dream come true. Playing a villainous character was such a blast! I really got to let my white trash side shine and dive deep into the chaos. This film is packed with fire, fury, and of course, plenty of fucking. It was an incredible experience, and I can’t wait for my fans to see what we’ve created!”
Director Greenwood shared his thoughts on the trajectory of the project: “Love in the Desert was the original title of this movie I wrote for Digital Playground in 2019. Unfortunately, COVID-19 happened, and the movie was put on the shelf for years. Now in late 2024 we decided to revisit the project. Digital Playground restructured the story and gave it a more modern twist and it became Wanted. It was great to have a chance to complete a project you think you’d never see done.
"On top of that, the casting they put together for this feature is incredible," he added. "Isiah Maxwell, Victor Ray, Nathan Bronson and Charlotte Sins are amazing. Blake Blossom was the perfect lead for it, but Kylie Rocket was the biggest surprise for me. She really puts the hard work and show us how great she is as an actress. Everyone gives their ‘A game’ to make this movie something special that everyone will appreciate and hopefully enjoy."
