Danni's Hard Drive has bought the assets of Misha Online. As part of the deal, Misha Online founder Misha Blair will join Danni's Hard Drive as creative director, with Misha Online continuing as a Website.
“Women know what men want,” Ashe said, announcing the deal as significant toward showing a rising trend of women at the forefront of Adult entertainment production and business. “Misha and I have proven, through the success of our companies, that women produce the finest Adult entertainment. By joining forces, Danni’s Hard Drive and Misha Online will continue to transform this male-dominated industry.”
A much-experienced photographer and Web designer, Blair began her career as Ashe's Webmaster before creating Websites for Adult models in 1997 and founding Misha Online in 2003. Returning to Danni's Hard Drive, she'll oversee strategy and execution of design and content for both Danni's Hard Drive and Misha Online.
“Danni Ashe has been a friend and mentor to me for years, and I’m thrilled to be working with the Danni’s Hard Drive team again,” Blair said at the deal announcement. “The difference between the aesthetic at the two companies – Danni’s Hard drive is playful and fun; Misha Online is elegant and sophisticated – will allow me to expand my creative abilities in a variety of directions. I know that the synergy between the two online brands will provide enormous benefits to Danni’s Hard Drive as a whole and to the loyal fans of both sites.”
Ashe said Danni's Hard Drive wants to keep aggressive business growth "in a number of new and exciting ways" while staying true to its basic brand values and long-term fans.
“In late 2004, we introduced a new line of DVDs; now, we are expanding our online reach as well," she said. "Misha’s outstanding Website, combined with her longstanding familiarity with the growth strategy of Danni’s Hard Drive, makes her an ideal addition to our executive team. We look forward to leveraging the Misha Online site and Misha’s artistic vision to provide an ever richer experience for our subscribers.”
