Devinn Lane told AVN.com she is available to direct for other companies and is considering offers now.
The long-time Wicked Pictures contract star said she has completed her exclusive relationship with the company and is a free agent.
“My contract with Wicked ended in July, but then I went directly into production for Playboy TV, and when I finished with that I had some time off to myself," Lane said. "In the last year, I’ve really not wanted to direct features. The stuff I like to direct is more like vignette or reality-style, or gonzo-style. It’s hard to do that when you work for company that is condoms only. For me as a performer that is great, but for the stuff I personally like to direct, it’s essential the projects be non-condom.”
Lane, who was with Wicked for six years, left the company amicably.
“I have no complaints. I just want to do something new and something that suits my personality,” she said.
She has produced and directed over 25 titles, including The Devinn Lane Show, Road Trixxx 1-3, Beautiful Nasty and Pillow Talk.
“The Road Trixxx series is what I’m most proud of,” she said. “… I’m looking to launch something with a new company for the January show. There is always an opportunity for a cable deal coming with me.”
