Devil's Film has moved the release date for its lesbian line L Factor to June 8.
"Based on the response we got from retailers and customers, we're pushing the title up a bit," said Devil's Film director of sales Steve Volponi. "We received a lot of e-mails from lesbian-owned stores, and the demand for that particular product is overwhelming."
The company will issue the first seven titles in the L Factor line simultaneously, including Ladies Night, Our Little Secret, Woman to Woman, Bedtime Stories, Woman's Touch, College Sweethearts, and She's My Man. The series of DVDs features amateur lesbian performers alongside such notable starlets as Sierra Sinn, Veronica Rayne, Cherry Poppins, Vanilla Skye, and Crystal White.
According to Volponi, Devil's Film plans to follow the first wave of L Factor DVDs with two additional titles per month.
"I believe this line will do really well for us," Volponi told AVN's Nelson X. "This isn't the usual "lipstick lesbian" flick that most studios shoot. It's a lot more sensual. It was shot by women. There's lots of kissing, and not that fake porno kissing. It's more like, "I want to make you love me kissing." It's pretty damn hot. The lesbian community will embrace it, and guys will be pretty turned on by it as well."
