After a decade of editing porn from her home in Encino, veteran Deloras Pachard, who is AVN Hall of Fame director Henri Pachard’s wife, has relocated her edit bay to Chatsworth, in the heart of Porn Valley, in order to be closer to her distributor and producer clients.
“I originally had the luxury of working out of home, and helping out Henri as he had his cancer treatments administered," Deloras said. "Now that Henri is through with his chemotherapy sessions, the opportunity arose where I was able to get into an office and full suite, right in the loop of everything.”
Deloras explained that she set up her first digital edit bay back in 1998. “That’s back when they said [the format] wouldn’t work, but I was a true believer.”
She is also now offering complete video and DVD authoring in both digital and High Definition formats. “With the full suite I can do anything from linear editing to authoring HD and digital formats,” she said. Deloras orignally started in production, so if second camera work or advice on production is needed, she has plenty of experience in both.
“Even though I’m one of the oldest shooters in the game, I can no longer refer to my wife as a rookie,” said Henri, “she’s just too busy and too good at what she does.”
“I’m looking forward to working in the new location, as well as getting some great new clients,” said Deloras.
