Delaware to Return to Cage

Adult film star Dick Delaware will fight in King of the Cage: Final Conflict on Saturday night at Soboba Casino in San Jacinto, Calif.

Delaware, aka Aaron Brink, will meet Buckley Acosta in a 205-pound, light-heavyweight fight. Brink (25 wins, 16 losses, one draw) comes into the contest on a three-fight losing streak. Acosta was a late substitution for Bryan Pardoe, who pulled out of the fight to go on a ski trip.

“I can’t believe I’m doing this again. I’m going back in,” Brink said. “But I feel like I can do what I need to do to get him out of there.”

Brink was knocked out in his last fight on Nov. 11 in Tucson, Ariz., in the Rage in the Cage show at Desert Diamond Casino.

“My thoughts are that this is my road back. I’ve got to put on a show in front of lot of people here, and I hope a lot of people show up that I told about the fight,” he said. “I want to go out and redeem myself and show people I really am a top competitor in this sport. Anything can happen in this sport, and it just so happened that stuff has happened a couple times in a row.”

The 6-foot-3 Brink weighed in at 205 and the 6-2 Acosta at 206 Thursday night. Brink allowed him one pound.

“He’s a former high school and college wrestler with Muay Thai kick-boxing skills,” Brink said. “... I’m putting it all on this fight.”

Doors open at 6:30.
